The short version: I use what you send me to review your car and get back to you. I don't sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for marketing.
Sale Ready Motor Co. is run by Chris Riggs in Connecticut. This page explains what information salereadymotorco.com collects and what I do with it.
What I collect
- What you send in the form: your name, email and phone number, your car's details, photos, any inspection report, and anything you write.
- What you send me directly: emails, texts and calls.
- Basic visit statistics: pages viewed, device and browser type, country, and the site that sent you. These come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
How I use it
- To review your car and prepare your call or report
- To contact you about your car and your sale
- To send invoices and keep the business records I'm required to keep
- To see which parts of the site are useful, so I can improve it
Who else handles it
I don't sell or share your information with anyone for their own use. A few services store or process it on my behalf:
- Google Workspace holds my email and stores form submissions and photos in Google Drive.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the visit statistics.
- PayPal processes payment if you pay an invoice.
Your photos are never posted publicly or used in marketing without your written permission. I may share information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep your information while I'm working with you and for up to three years after we last spoke, so I can answer follow-up questions. Ask me any time and I'll delete it, except for records I'm required to keep for taxes.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I have about you by emailing chris@salereadymotorco.com. This site doesn't track you across other websites, so browser "Do Not Track" settings don't change anything here.
Security
Your information is stored in password-protected business accounts with two-step sign-in. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send anything you'd consider highly sensitive, like financial account numbers.
Children
This site is meant for adults selling their own cars. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
